How Does It Work?
Like most online traffic schools, Traffic School to Go requires you to sign up, finish the course, answer quizzes, and pass a final exam. After that, they send your certificate of completion to the court so you can finally mask your moving violation.
It seems pretty easy, but getting there was more stressful than we thought. At sign-up, you need to pay attention so you can choose the right course. California requires no course timers, but there is an option to take the course for 6 hours.
If you don’t pay attention, you might select the timed version. When that happens, you’re going to have to endure timers throughout the course and you won’t be able to move to the next section unless the timer is up.
The course itself was easy to understand, although it becomes repetitive at times.
They do try to keep us engaged with images, diagrams, and a few videos, but it’s still nothing compared to what other traffic schools such as Improv and the already well established GotoTrafficSchool have in their arsenal.
For us, the course material is the heart of an online traffic school. In the modern world, we’re living in, we expect to see a more interactive way of learning. Since this online traffic school doesn’t offer other courses like defensive driving [1], we expected higher-quality material.
After all, other traffic schools have already stepped up to the demand of tech-savvy users. Sadly, Traffic School To Go hasn’t kept up.

But it is worth mentioning that their course is mobile-friendly. We’ve tried switching the devices from computers to phones and tablets. Everything worked fine.
Moving on to the tests, the quizzes at the end of each section can be pretty confusing. This had us worrying about the final exam. As it turns out, the final was easy to answer and the 25 questions were good measures of knowledge.
While we didn’t have much problem during the taking of the course to complete this Traffic School to Go review, we were dismayed when we found out we had to pay additional to get a copy of our completion certificate. Things like this should already be included in the package or stated upfront so customers will know, as the cheapest online schools have already been practicing.
The worse thing is, when we checked in with the court a few weeks later, we found out that Traffic School To Go still hasn’t delivered the report of our results to the courts. When we tried calling their customer service, we always got put on hold for more than half an hour.
Talking to their customer service rep was a hassle too. They just went in circles and still, our problem wasn’t solved. They’ve said they will deliver to the court, but when we checked in a few days later, our results still did not reflect in their system.
We’d rather have a customer support that is not round the clock like Safe2Drive but still is more responsive and efficient compared to our experience with Traffic School To Go.
Having to go back and forth with the court and the traffic school was really a hassle. Compared to the other online traffic schools we’ve gone through, the service at Traffic School To Go is lacking in terms of really helping out customers and making things easier.

Traffic School To Go Review Conclusion
Traffic School To Go reviews online may all seem positive, but our experience suggests otherwise. While the course was straightforward and the final exam was easy, the big problem is their failure to send the completion results to the court.
Customer service was lacking too. If you need to attend traffic school, there are a lot of options out there that will help you get rid of your traffic ticket.
