1. Improv

There’s no denying that traffic school is pretty boring and we’d rather do something else. But to make things easier, Improv Traffic School has created a course that’s sprinkled with comedy so you’re never bored when learning about traffic laws.

Throughout the course, you’ll see funny images, jokes, games, and videos taught by stand-up comedians. The lessons are easy to get through and you might actually find yourself enjoying every minute of traffic school.

But despite the good humor, Improv is pretty serious about the service they provide. They’re approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) and all Florida courts would accept your completion in this traffic school.

Improv also has 20 years of experience, starting off as a classroom course established by Improv Comedy Club. Today, they offer a variety of courses, including defensive driving and driver’s ed.

Overall, it’s the best online traffic school Florida has to offer. It is also one of our favorite schools in Orange County.

How to Choose an Online Traffic School in Florida

There are a few things you need to consider when picking out a Florida traffic school. To help you out, we’ve discussed them below:

[thrive_leads id=’11320′]

Course Type

The first thing you should do when selecting the best online traffic school Florida offers is to determine the course you will take. Generally, Florida courts may require you to either take the Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) School or the Advancer Driver Improvement (ADI) School.

The Basic Driver Improvement class is for those who got a speeding citation or other minor traffic infractions. Within 30 days from your citation date, you should inform the clerk of court that you’re voluntarily taking traffic school before you sign up.

If your violation is more severe, the court may require you to take the Florida Advanced Driver Improvement (ADI) course. A few reasons for taking this course is if your license is suspended, you committed reckless driving [1], or you’re involved in a crime or accident on the road.

The ADI does require more time and commitment on your part, as it’s a 12-hour course and there are fewer vendors in Florida.

Cost

Whether you take traffic school online or in a physical classroom, you should always consider how much it costs. That said, you get what you pay for so it’s probably not a good idea to take traffic school that’s just $5.

The average cost you should be paying for BDI is around $19, and the ADI should be around $65.

You don’t always have to pay a hefty amount to learn though, as proven by the  recommended cheapest schools you can find online.

State Approval

It’s crucial to take a course that’s approved by courts in Florida, or else you’d be wasting your time and money. The traffic schools on our list are Florida state-approved, so you’re sure you’re in the right hands.

With great material, good price, and responsive customer service, Improv is the best online traffic school Florida drivers can get.
